If you're using a tablespace to move the entire database, things will likely work out okay if you had the database in a stable, stopped state at the time you took your 1 month old backup as pg_xlog and pg_clog are still going to be on your primary drive. If you actually have the whole $PGDATA directory on your storage drive, then you likely won't have any problems at all no matter what was going on when you took the backup of the C: drive.
